On this page I discuss the writing processes I used to compose my life-choice memoir. At the end of this discussion, I provide links to each of my drafts. Writing is essential to those in college courses and to those in a career involving writing. Everyone has a process on where to start and end a piece of writing. My own process with this life-memoir assignment it took time to create something meaningful. There were a few blog assignments that help to achieve the tone of what kind of memoir I wanted to write. The two blog assignments that help were "Life Choice: Should I Stay or Should I Go" &"Life Choice: To Tell the Truth?". It took me to time to where I made an important choice with a great impact on my future had to be written in words. Remembering back to where I was making the choice and what led up to it. The start was to handwrite it at first to remember key points in that time in my life. I had to take myself to that moment in life where I walked, what the sounds of the surrounding were, and the feel of the environments. Found a time and place to start writing when appropriate. There was a lot of mishaps during the creation of the writing peace. After finishing the first draft I wrote a reflection to take a better look on how this assignment made an impact in my writing. There could have been a different outcome with how the assignment was attempted but overall it is a great experience to reflect on for future assignments similar to this one.
